What a relief that we can bring our laptops wherever we want and still be able to type up school work and, of course, occasionally check our Facebook, e-mail and most recently, the addictive Web site MiddleburyConfessional.

Despite the claim, officials with the Middlebury Police Department (MPD) cautioned against premature conclusions.

The College's Office of Admissions announced that, as of May 6, it had received 564 deposits for September and 92 for February enrollment. The numbers ensured that it would fill its target enrollment size of 570 for September and 90 students for February, after only 18.

The offices of the editorial board of The Middlebury Campus are located in the basement of Hepburn Hall. These are shabby rooms, prone to leaks in wet weather. The pipes rattle and clatter in the winter. After a night spent putting together the newspaper, the office is invariably a mess, strewn with half-eaten dinners, discarded design mock-ups and elusive red pens.
